goofy girl....

My goodness! Jozie is just so much fun and quite the little ham! She is just about 7 months old and is always making us laugh. She has such a fun and outgoing personality and continues to keep us busy.

Her most recent toy is her walker- she's been cruising around in it for a little over a month now and is basically running in it. We have hardwood floors in our house and that girl gets going (basically running) and then she just coasts to a stop before crashing into something. She maneuvers that thing every which way- the walker is just about as wide as our doorways and she gets stuck sometimes, but sure enough, she backs that thing up and gets on through- she owns that thing!! AND if we can't find her- she has worked her way into the bathroom and makes faces and squeals at her friend in the mirror. :)

We also put her in a highchair the other day. I thought that she was ready for it- but it turns out she is still a little small. She wiggled down low enough to start kicking the tray up- made for some great pics!

Friends come from near & far....

I've been so lucky this summer to see so many friends all at once! They've come as far as from DC, France and Texas. It is the first time that we have all been together since 2005- we are all such great friends and it's always amazing to me that we can just pick up from where we left off - I guess that says that our friendships are real, lasting and very meaningful to all of us! Thanks guys for the last few weeks- you're the best!

Summertime Fun!

On our way up north to my cousin's wedding, we got to spend some extra time at my uncle's house in Oregon City. We headed down town Portland to The Brasserie- a historic building that my uncle has restored from the ground up! It is amazing and we can't wait to head back and visit when the restaurant is finished and enjoy some jazz and blues bands..

We also got to take Jozie swimming for the first time- she seemed to really enjoy it! Got some great visiting in with our cousins and on the way home stopped by to see Andrew's cousins in Dundee- of course, I forgot my camera for that visit! Could have got some fun pictures with the kids and Jozie.

Another fun thing that we got to do this summer was going to the Josh Turner concert at the DC fair- he is one of our favorite artists- so seeing him in concert was pretty neat. We got to spend some extra time with some of our good friends.

In this post, I'm also including some "going away" pics of Cassie at the airport. We miss you already Cass!

Annie & Damien

We headed up North to my cousin Annie's wedding. It was perfect and just so much fun! They both looked amazing and the setting was so relaxing and perfect in it's very own way.

Sunriver & Ryan's wedding weekend

she doesn't like papa's whiskers & she's letting him know about it!

which trail do I take?

I know that it has been so long since I have posted anything- summer has been so crazy- we've been having a lot of fun and not a lot of down-time. Which explains my lack of postings. I've got a lot of catching up to do, so bare with me!

We headed over to Bend for our good friend, Ryan's wedding back in July. We had so much fun at the wedding and we were so glad that we went. We had a great time visiting with good friends and Jozie enjoyed some dancing- yes, she was the hit of the evening!

We stayed in Sunriver on the trip. We enjoyed lots of bike riding and just spending time outdoors. We had so much fun and we wished that we would have been able to stay a few more days...

Side note- I realized that I uploaded the wedding/reception in reverse order...trying to get used to uploading order again- sorry!
