WEEK 10 ULTRASOUND

We finally got to see our baby! It is just so amazing how quickly it grows! It was so fun to watch it move around- it was kicking it's feet and moving it's arms around- the doctor said that it must be a boy because during the ultrasound it started picking it's nose! It made us laugh- we could have sat in there for hours watching it. Two weeks later we got to hear it's heartbeat for the first time. We just feel so blessed and cannot wait to meet our little one. We've got an ultrasound image and will post it later...

WHEN WE BROKE THE NEWS....

We had a BBQ with our parents and gave Kinzie's dad an early birthday gift. Included was a BabyRuth candy bar (he totally missed the hint & ate it before he continued to open the rest of his present- after all, the man has his priorities!), a card from Baby Aasen announcing the arrival date of February 9, 2009 and an ultrasound picture. It was a fun surprise for all and an even better birthday gift!

PROUD PARENTS-TO-BE

Yes, we're expecting! We feel so very blessed and so very lucky to have been chosen to become parents. We thought that it would be fun if we started a blog so that our family and friends can join us as our baby grows! We will continue to post pictures so that you will be included in on all our fun!
