she's......BAAK!

Finally, I got my girl to look at me and SMILE! All I had to do was pretend that I was biting her toes while she ate her nummies (a quick mommy tip for those ornery kiddos!)

3 Birthdays

break for nummies on the way up...

fun at the zoo!

thirsty girl!

hockey game (great game & we got to see a fight, which made it all worth it! ;)

so much fun...it's exhausting!

pillow party before bed!

stretchin' our legs on the drive home...what a beautiful weekend!

Since all 3 of our birthdays are so close together, we decided to start a new tradition this year by making a fun memory together rather than buying lots of presents. So we decided to start this year off in style by heading to the city!! We went to the Oregon Zoo for Jozie, hockey game for Daddy and stayed in my uncle's apartment at the Brasserie for Mommy. We had so much fun and felt so spoiled! Andrew woke up in the morning looking over the streets of downtown Portland at the little bistros and cute shops and said, "hon, I feel like we're in Manhattan". He loved it- at one point, he was trying to think of a job where he could be in Portland part of the time...who would of thought? All and all, it was a wonderful weekend (not to mention beautiful weather!) and we made a great memory! We're already thinking of next year's memory....renting a cabin and playing in the snow!

tiny dancer

Thanks to the Groves' Family, Jozie has a new tutu! So of course, I had to at least try to get some pics of our tiny dancer with it on. She has been so hard to catch on camera lately- but here goes nothing...(there might be a part 2 of this photo shoot later on...I hope!)

MISS INDEPENDENT!!

Since Jozie has started walking it's so hard for me to get her to hold still for a picture. I finally had to put her in her stroller to get one of her- I told her to look at mommy and she shook her head "no" and turned the other way! I think that it's going to be hit & miss from here on out....

Goodbye for now....

Cassie headed back to school shortly after Christmas. We had so much fun with her over the break and we were so lucky that we got to see so much of her! In route to the airport, she and my mom stopped by for extra hugs and an early birthday for Jozie. We'll miss you Cass and can't wait to see you again in May- we love you!
