OUR FAN CLUB WOW...what a day! This past weekend I ran my first 1/2 marathon (13.1 miles). This has been a goal of mine for the past 4 years and I finally got inspired enough to do it. This was such an amazing experience and I feel so happy to say that I finally accomplished my goal! My sister and I enjoyed this race so much that we've already signed up for another one in September and hoping to do many more for years to come. Thanks to all my family and friends for all of the constant support and thanks to TEAM JK for your constant inspiration- you helped make this happen for all of us!
Jozie and cousin Blake Hi daddy! This weekend was both a blur and a blast!! We started off with a fun evening with some great friends (one home visiting from DC)- we had lots of catching up to do and we were thankful for our time together- sure do wish that it could be more often!:) Saturday morning we went to a fishing derby where we won some great prizes, ate some yummy food, but unfortunately didn't catch one stinkin' fish due to complications with the transport of the fish- but we still had fun! Afterwards we went to a birthday party that was so much fun we didn't end up leaving until 11:30 that night! Then we had Mother's Day-- which was another full day...needless to say I think that by the end of the weekend, everyone was ready for a nap!
We hit one of the best days at the beach! The weather was gorgeous- not a cloud in the sky and just a slight breeze- not very many days like that on the coast, so we were very thankful. Jozie LOVED it and we LOVED watching her...she tasted sand, rocks and I think Timber's stick...hmm...I think that about covers it. Afterwards we headed to Langlois for some yummy hotdogs and to Port Orford to see the light house. All and all is was such a great day and just fun being together.
We like to take advantage of the beautiful weather and get outside when we can! Seems like one week it's hailing and the next week it's in the 70's. We must live in OREGON!
yes, they are scooping up dog poop...what a great team!
